This is a reminder about some major changes in the Southwest livestock show, 2009.   This year you will only be able to show and sell one animal at the show. The one exception to this rule is concerning steers. You can show and sell 2 steers, but not a steer and any another species.   The other rule change is that you if attend any other State Junior Livestock Show (this does not include our Beaver County Show) you will not be able to enter the Southwest Livestock Show. The one exception to this rule is the State Fair. All animals will be tagged June 6th at the fairgrounds in Minersville. Lambs and pigs will be tagged from 10:00-11:00 at the fairgrounds, and steers will be tagged from 11:00-12:00 at Rodney Carter’s feedlot. Animals can also be tagged at the auction yard in Cedar on June 2^nd from 6:00-8:00 pm and on June 13^th from 10:00-11:00.

The Beaver County Stockshow will be held on May 9^th, with the lamb show starting at 10:00 and the horse show starting at 1:00. Please come and participate.
